TensorFlow 2.0
At TensorFlow Dev Summit 2019, the TensorFlow team introduced the Alpha version of TensorFlow 2.0!
With TensorFlow 2.0, we are consolidating our APIs and integrating Keras across the TensorFlow ecosystem. In this talk, we give an overview of what to expect with TensorFlow High-Level APIs in 2.0.
During the summit, it was announced that developers can now try the preview version of TensorFlow 2.0 Alpha. TensorFlow 2.0 makes it much easier to define machine learning models as compared to the previous version of TensorFlow. It actually uses the Keras API definition standard. So if you’re a Keras lover, you will find working with TensorFlow 2.0 very seamless. In fact, you can try TensorFlow 2.0 and TensorFlow 2.0 for advanced developers. Some of the items that come with TensorFlow 2.0 include:
- Keras integration into the TensorFlow ecosystem
- TF-Hub starter list of loadable models
- TPU support
- tf.contrib has been removed
- New website and revised documentation
- Add-ons and extensions such as TF Datasets, TF Federated and, TF Privacy
